I like it a lot.

Not to mention there is "almost" nothing in the world not "plane, or air" related which could catch it :)

I sold the red bike last friday morning as a trade in towards the white one (which, incidentally, never saw the showroom floor). The first time I saw the white bike was right after they called me from the dealership to tell me that it got in. I went there and they had to OPEN THE CRATE for me to see it...
The red bike is a 2004 Suzuki GSX1300RZ Hayabusa Limited
The white bike is a 2006 Suzuki GSX1300RZ Hayabusa Limited
I basically sold a bike, and bought a bike, to get a paint-job and hardware two years newer.
After driving it, however, it seems as though there were other things different with the red one because the handling between the two is totally different. It isn't because of the custom stuff done to the first one because they put the white one the same way the red one was. They took the full custom exhaust off of the red on and traded it for the one on the white for the price of labor. They lowered the back end two inches like the red one was, and took the strap off the red one and replaced it on the white one. The bikes, after the work was completed, were Identical except for the fairings.
I'm so happy...

Yeah, that bike is ridiculous...and if you traded a 2004 in for a brand new one then yes, there are DEFINATELY things new with it that you will notice while riding because they upgrade shit like crazy...usually anyways, thats the way it is with honda so I would supposed a Gixer would be the same way.
sick bike man, I would probably rather have a gixer 1000 more, but a hyabusa is a more comfortable bike for long distance.
good stuff man, got yourself a serious machine there.
and caenwyn, he shouldnt kill himself if he is careful, even though that bike can do about 230 mph. :)
Trouvist (06:40 05/14/2006)
You are both forgetting that I owned a Hayabusa previously. And Crisis, as for the upgrades, there were none. The only difference between a 1997 Hayabusa and a 2006 Limited Hayabusa is the paint and the fact that when you turn on the bike, the front light goes out until the engine is running.
Crisis (07:44 05/15/2006)
No upgrades....wtf....I could have sworn it even looks different...I've ridden a 2003 before...very smooth bike, the Hydrolic clutch was interesting to...a lot smoother than mine. Wierd....you take a 2002 cbr 600rr and a 2006 and the difference is pretty decent...lots of small technicall upgrades.
I love the busa tho...great machine.
Caenwyn (08:38 05/12/2006)
Congrats on the condo! :)
Caenwyn (08:39 05/12/2006)
Okay. I am NOT one of those stupid people you keep bitching about. But picture links? I don't see any....
Caenwyn (09:26 05/12/2006)
Ass. Where are the picture links?
Caenwyn (12:50 05/12/2006)
Look at the pretty red bike! :)
Caenwyn (01:30 05/12/2006)
That's kinda scary. Will Mark kill himself on that bike?
Caenwyn (12:38 05/16/2006)
hmmm. I'm thinking I want a bike too. Of course, I prefer the rumbly, sexy, chromy ones. I can't affort the Fat Boy that I would love to custom deck out, but I'm thinking a Yamaha V-Star Classic would be acceptable.
hmmmm....
