Why do men play mind games? Why can't you just SAY and DO what you mean? Do you take pleasure in tormenting our emotions? And what the hell is up with "boy time" anyway? Can't you follow through with something the NEXT DAY like normal people???

Remember about our talk Caenwyn? Crisis is clearly a #2 guy. I'll quote: "Yeah, thats because when a guy calls a girl back the very next day the girl blows them off, you don't do that...you give it time and THEN call back because it does THIS exact thing to girl and then the girl does what you are doing, wondering, wanting to know why they havent called so when they finally do, they are in."

And what number are you, Mark? Your reply to my email suggests that you are ALSO a #2 - you put out bait and then mock the victim for trying to eat it. Sounds familiar to me...

Games are stupid. Why can't people have the freedom to do and say what they feel without the gameplaying? For example, if I like someone, I want to be able to say "I like you" and not play this "Oh, I can't tell him that because it shows vunerability and neediness." I guess I'm just not into power and manipulation. I don't WANT to hurt people or play with their emotions, so I can't understand people who do.

Being like me is not a good thing. I don't play games. I don't want to play games, I am not good at playing games, I have no desire to play games. This means that I cannot tell when someone else is playing games with me - I cannot fathom that someone would deliberately toy with my emotions. I see my inability to play games as a weakness. I just have to realize that 99% of people are just not very nice.

Well Crisis, those different people have varying levels of intelligences; typically the more intelligent amongst the group that Caenwyn is describing do notice that they are playing games. However, I do realize that they probably don't play the games to intentionally hurt, but because they were taught that those games are necessary for courtship. It takes a lot to step outside one's bounds and defy what you have been taught; it takes a whole hell of a lot more to step outside one's self and completely stop something which feels right but is actually cold or heartless.

I've been trying to figure out why GIRLS have this problem for 22 years now.
I think its people, not men, not girls...people.
boy time...eh, my boy time usually INCLUDES my girlfriend...or at least I TRY to make it include her, she usually doesnt want to go along.

No, no, when I say "boy time" I'm referring to the strange sense of time passing that boys have. Meaning, when a boy says he'll call you, a girl thinks that it will be the next day or so. Boy time means 4 or 5 days later. Your perception of time is completely different than ours.
And yeah. People suck.

I can teach you the entire pattern of a correct way to hit on a girl and the steps to take in order to get one, you DON'T call the very next day...unless completely desperate haha.
then again if you are talking about a husband figure....you got me thats whack.

Not sure what #'s mean as I was obviously not part of that conversation, but its true...Out of all the people I have dated I have learned you NEVER call back a girl right away, if you do it either turns into a friend, a nice fling for a short amount of time, or a one nighter and an obvious reason as to WHY you called back so soon.

The problem is that few people I have ever met are like you, and those who say they are, definately are not...It is good that you are the way you are, please, trust me on that, but people WILL play games, it is part of our nature.

Unfortunately people dont do it in a deliberate form at all, it's almost part of nature, they do it because of years of learning to do it. Sorry if my english today is off I got no sleep last night and I am in an awful mood. Fact of the matter is whoever did this to you probably didn't do anything on purpose, they might not even realize what so ever that they did it.
