Has anyone "seen The Hills Have Eyes?"
I just saw it, very strange but decent...When it comes to wierd looking people acting regular humans I think Dawn of the Dead is better...all though not really comparable...anyone else going to see this whack movie?
Trouvist (03:51 03/14/2006)
Personally I'm not too terribly interested in The Hills Have Eyes. I have, however, seen both Ultraviolet and Final Destination 3. I enjoyed the latter (it was just like the first two) and Ultraviolet was a decent movie with a hidden political agenda but great action scenes.
I am interested in seeing Inside Man and V for Vendetta and perhaps 16 Blocks.

Trouvy I saw 16 blocks, decent.

It is pretty gorey, the more I think about it I actually think the more I liked it...I really can't say it was an "excellent" movie, but it was worth a watch. I would however recomend waiting to see it on T.V. lol. I might buy it on DVD when it comes out just to have it.
Crisis (08:16 03/15/2006)
M Night Shyamalan was decent, but I personally think the Village should have NEVER EVER EVER been made...EVER
myself and about 11 friends walked out of that movie completely pissed.

Narnia was the biggest piece of christian propaghanda that i have ever seen.
Crisis (07:44 03/22/2006)
Well then I won't like it.
Trouvist (11:53 03/23/2006)
"Propaganda" is the correct spelling.
Crisis (12:21 03/23/2006)

Actually Caenwyn, C.S. Lewis was originally Jewish, then converted to Christianity. When he wrote Narnia, he was still a Jew.
Crisis (07:37 03/24/2006)
So basically Lewis is insane...

I have considered it, though not for any significant period of time. I am sometimes a fan of horror movies, but my tastes tend to be a little specific. For example: I thoroughly enjoyed "The Others", I enjoyed "The Ring" less, "13 Ghosts" (the new version) was awful and I enjoyed "Gothika" about as much as "The Ring". I saw the old version of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" out of the corner of my eye while I was playing Diablo II, and didn't think much of it. Actually, I don't see a lot of horror movies at all. However, I have encountered some that I enjoyed a lot. I have seen the first "_____ of the Dead" movie, though I can't seem to remember which one specifically. I saw "Ringu" and enjoyed it more than "The Ring". I also enjoyed that japanese horror movie called something like "The Eye" that was similar to "Gothika" in terms of plot.
So, I don't know about "The Hills Have Eyes". I will probably not see it, unless one of my friends says it's particularly good. I'm not much of a fan of gore. Is it gorey, or just suspensful and disturbing?

I was also going to mention that I saw that other japanese movie about these kids who were getting cell phone calls from themselves at the moment they died (usually a few minutes in the future). But, I was watching that in Japanese, with Chinese subtitles. So, I couldn't really get into it.

I think I enjoy suspense movies more than horror movies. I thoroughly enjoyed the M. Night Shyamalan movies. "Diabolique" was great, and although I've only seen a few Hitchcock movies, I am looking forward to seeing more.

Movies require a babysitter. We usually only go to two or three a year...the big ones we've been waiting for, i.e. Serenity, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc.
Caenwyn (01:02 03/21/2006)
I WILL NOT be one of those people....

Silly Trouvist, C.S. Lewis was a Christian writer. The Christian themes are very open - it's not a secret. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy the beauty of the story and the just plain fun of it all.
